Homes for Heroes Fitout

Homes for Heroes (H4H) has been fitted out courtesy of RSL Lifecare, City of Penrith RSL sub Branch and Penrith RSL Club Ltd who provided additional funding to make the premises more pleasant for its future residents.  However, the supply of office, dining room and outside furniture along with a BBQ presented a significant problem i.e. who was going to construct all those flatpacks. Thanks to Sqnldr Del Gaudry and a select group of volunteers from RAAF Glenbrook this problem was quickly resolved with what may well be the fastest assembly of flatpacks.

Melissa Neish who is the manager of H4H at RSL Lifecare Penrith was delighted with the assistance she has received and is looking forward to receiving the first residents in the coming weeks.  If you know of any homeless veterans requiring assistance you  can contact Melissa on 0427828048 or melissa.neish@rsllifecare.org.au
