One of the first recorded welfare programs was for a returned man named Mr. Percy Skeen, a wounded returned soldier. This information was obtained from an extract in the Nepean Times from 1922.
For many decades, the Sub-Branch has provided significant pension, welfare and hospital visitations for members, and members of other Sub-Branches.
